Torch Creative // Brad Bishop & Michael Thurman
Torch Creative was founded in 2005 by Brad Bishop and Michael Thurman, as a high-end, creative design studio specializing in logo design and brand development for athletic, entertainment, corporate and licensing-based clients.
Our passion and experience has resulted in top-tier agencies, studios and companies around the country contracting Torch to develop branding programs for a wide variety of clients. Torch’s current portfolio includes programs for clients including the National Hockey League, the Collegiate Licensing Company, Strategic Marketing Affiliates, the Licensing Resource Group, the National Basketball Association, municipalities, a vast array of Division I, II and III colleges and universities, and we are pleased to be continually evolving our client base.
Torch Creative approaches each and every assignment with a very simple, basic strategy to identify our clients needs, wants and aspirations, and then carefully adapt our tactics to provide a unique design solution that the project deserves.

Todd Radom is an independent graphic designer specializing in branding for professional sports franchises and events. Todd's work includes the official logos for Super Bowl XXXVIII and the 2009 NBA All Star Game, as well as the graphic identity for Major League Baseball's Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Angels.
Among the leading designers in the professional sports industry, he has nearly two decades of work with the NFL, NBA, and Major League Baseball, which has resulted in some of the most familiar icons of our popular culture.
Born in New York City in 1964, Todd is a fourth-generation working artist. Todd has been inspired and intrigued by the iconography and visual culture of American sports, particularly baseball, since childhood. A series of his baseball ephemera-themed illustrations was publicly exhibited in 1979, when he was only 15.
Todd attended the School of Visual Arts and received a BFA in Graphic Design. After graduating in 1986, he worked in book publishing, designing hundreds of jackets for books by a wide range of authors, including Stephen King, Doris Kearns Goodwin and Salman Rushdie. He set off on his own independent professional path in 1990 and has never looked back. In addition to his sports branding work, Todd continues to work on a range of projects, from poster and book jacket design to apparel design and corporate identity.
Todd has been profiled or quoted in many publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Fast Company, ESPN The Magazine, HOW Magazine and Print Magazine. He has lectured on graphic design for professional sports, the aesthetics of baseball, and the dynamics of brand loyalty between consumers and professional sports franchises. Todd is currently a member of the Board of the SVA Alumni Society.
