MLC Connect is looking for enthusiastic, passionate game changers to join the crew for Connect 2026. Whether you’re currently a full-time creative in sports and enjoy working behind the scenes or working towards a career in sports with an applicable degree, we need your help to bring our vision to life and ultimately push the industry forward. Join our community, meet speakers and leaders, gain valuable experiences, and make connections that stick with you past the conference.

OPPORTUNITIES

Must have social media experience
Plans, posts, and manages content across all platforms- Instagram, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn
Builds content plans with the Director of Marketing that align with brand goals
Watches analytics like a true pro- knows what’s working, what’s not, and how to pivot
Reply to DMs and comments- keeping the brand human

Must have graphic design and motion experience
Translates big ideas into strong visual concepts
Contribute to branding strategies and conference development by providing creative insight
Work closely with marketing and senior leadership to align objectives
Willingness to work on design and animation projects year-round
Coach and provide clear feedback to other design team members

Take creative concepts and turn them into eye-catching visuals
Must be a true pro and confident in your work
Make sure all designs stay true to the brand vibe- whether its colors, fonts, or tone
Keep your files neat and your layers labeled
Taking accountability for your work- deadlines are important to us

You’ll be responsible for finding, pitching to, and locking in awesome sponsors who align with our brand
You’ll plan, set goals, and drive the overall of our sponsorship program under main leadership
Manage relationships by checking in and providing updates to sponsors
Work closely with sponsorship team to provide tasks and responsibilities
Support leadership with contracts, pricing, and terms

You’ll work closely with the Director of Partnerships to help bring sponsorship strategies to life
Connect with potential partners to keep them in the loop and make them feel like VIP’s
Help put together pitch decks and partnership packages
Be an extra set of eyes to ensure nothing falls through the cracks and keep conversations flowing with sponsorships

Responsible for finding and pitching conference party locations to operations team
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams
Manage logistics pre, during, and post events
Make sure every event feels on-brand, engaging, and memorable
Be the go-to person on event days to ensure the event runs smoothly and the experience is flawless

You’ll help the Events Manager keep everything on track, from early planning to event wrap-ups
Assist with the details- you’ll make sure all the little details of the events are checked off and double checked
Coordinate with vendors by confirming bookings and logistics
Help make sure events look amazing before the doors open and get packed up smoothly once they’re over
Support the Events Manager with anything they need to make sure each event is a success

Assist with setup, organization, and breakdown at the stadium and event venues including signage placement, table and chairs arrangement, green room setup, merch setup, etc.
Work the registration table, welcoming attendees, distributing materials, and providing information about the conference
Work the merch table, selling swag, answering questions, and assisting with their purchase
Act as a greeter and all around resource for attendees, making them feel welcome, assisting them as needed, and answering any questions they may have
Support the staff as a whole and be willing to help as requested, ensuring a successful and smooth event

REQUIREMENTS
Deadline to volunteer: October 10, 2025
Monthly mandatory Zoom meetings leading up to the conference
Required to be in-market for 5 days around the conference date
Have a team-player “all hands on deck” attitude, be willing to help with anything and everything, with the understanding that there will be late nights and early mornings
Must be at least 21 years of age, must qualify as a conference attendee, or be working towards a career in sports with an applicable degree
Ready to make lasting relationships, learn, grow your craft, and create a fun and memorable experience for our attendees and other crew members
